Today the 12 of August marks exactly 3years since Africa’s legendary coupe decale icon from ivory coast departed from us. (R.I.P)

Popular Ivorian musician, Houon Ange Didier artistically recognized as DJ-Arafat passed away at the age of 33. He died this Monday 12th August 2019 at the hours of 8am on an occurrence of a road accident on a Sunday night in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire.

The accident was a terrible collision between him on a sports bike with a vehicle driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire.The shock was indeed violent as videos shown on social media showed DJ Arafat lying on the road unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital where we later on gave up the his last breath. According to the Ivorian Life magazine, the hit journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire was hospitalized but is today in a good health state

But ever since Arafat’s departure till date, there has been none like him and the love from fans to his music remains alive and danced to whether it is played.
Legends die but the music lives forever.
